Hi Darren,

We've taken a look, and unfortunately there's no way to fix that glitched Flixel. Really sorry about that - on the plus side, the issue has been fixed in 1.0.3 so you should never experience this kind of letdown again ;)

We agree - it's on our todo list now

Hi Darren,

Sorry about that - there's a rare bug where the unmasked area becomes visible. In your case it was from a few frames losing the filter setting. We believe the issue is caused by backgrounding the app during rendering, so we've disabled background rendering in v1.0.3 (which should be approved on the app store any day now). It's a random iOS bug that we've had a hard time tracking down, so our stopgap solution is to just start the render over if you switch away from the app while it's rendering.

Again, really sorry about this. Hopefully it'll be fixed in 1.0.3

Hi Darren,

Unfortunately the app doesn't currently auto-save your original source capture, although that's something we're looking at for a future version. If you're using Flixel Pro there's an option to save your creations to Drafts when you're uploading just in case you want to go back and make changes, but unless you flip that switch they aren't currently saved automatically.

Sorry to hear about the facebook issues - give these steps a try and let us know if they resolve the issues you're seeing:

-Go to your device's Settings, then Facebook, and make sure Flixel has access to your account.
-Also in your device's Settings, go to Privacy, then Facebook, and make sure that the authorization for Flixel is set to ON.
-Next, go to Facebook App Center (https://www.facebook.com/appcenter/my), click "Settings" under Flixel and make sure that the app is allowed to post on your behalf.

If Flixel is there but doesn't have the ability to Post on your behalf, click the 'Remove app' link at the bottom, then disconnect Facebook access within Flixel and reconnect.

Facebook also recently updated their SDK, so once Flixel 1.0.3 is approved on the app store, it'll have the new SDK updates included. If all of the above fails, try again with version 1.0.3

Let us know if that solves the issue, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Jose,

Sorry to hear that facebook connections are causing trouble. First make sure that you're using the latest version of Flixel (v1.0.2 was released to the app store on August 16th), and then try these troubleshooting steps:

Hi Gareth, sorry for the delayed reply. After checking your account, it appears that you've posted 3 standard-definition flixels, and 1 HD flixel. If you're on a fast connection, the HD upload process should complete within a couple minutes.

We're very sorry if you're still dissatisfied. Unfortunately we're not capable of giving refunds directly, but you can request one through the Apple App Store.

Sorry to hear that - hopefully we can get things sorted out for you. Can you send us a screenshot of the "Save or Delete" screen that you're seeing after the upload finishes? Normally you'd only be asked to safe to drafts or delete if you cancel out of an edit.

What's your username? We can check to see if your Flixels have uploaded properly. Once uploaded, you should see your creations in your profile. Immediately after uploading you will see a grey box in the place where your new creation will be, but that's because it's being processed by our servers - after a couple of minutes you should be able to pull-refresh and see your new work.

The upload times will be longer because of the larger filesize of HD. We're looking at improving this functionality, but in the meantime you can always save to Drafts and then upload when you're on a better network connection

Yes, the Pro version provides the ability to trim, change the loop settings, add filters, change the initial keyframe, and more. It also lets you record up to 5 seconds of footage.
